About Conor McMillen

I'm Conor

I first encountered Internal Family Systems in 2012, during a time when depression, anxiety, and addiction had left me feeling lost and exhausted. IFS gave me a gentle, respectful way to turn toward the parts of myself that were suffering instead of fighting them. Over the next year I practiced on my own, and the shifts I experienced were so meaningful that I knew this was the work I wanted to devote my life to.

In 2014 I completed formal training through the IFS Institute, founded by Dr. Richard Schwartz. Since then I’ve spent thousands of hours guiding both myself and others through this powerful approach.

Today I work as an IFS-trained life coach. I offer one-on-one sessions, but my deepest passion is helping people learn to become their own guides. That’s why I created the Self-Therapy and IFS YouTube channel and The Complete Self-Led IFS Program — so anyone who wants to can begin healing from the inside, at their own pace.

I’m equally committed to supporting coaches and aspiring coaches. My training programs weave deep internal IFS work with practical, grounded steps so they can show up for their clients with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

Whether your struggles look like mine or are completely different, I believe we all carry similar wounds and travel similar healing paths. My greatest joy is walking alongside you — wherever you are on that path — and helping you find the same kindness and freedom I’ve found.

Thank you for being here. I’m honored to share this work with you.
